Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Fitness Tracker
This review is built from Xiaomi's Amazon Australia listing (current pricing, rating and review volume) and a read-through of the most recent verified buyer reviews - not from physically operating the unit ourselves. Where a claim below has no independent testing behind it, that's noted rather than presented as measured fact.

Who it's for
Anyone who wants to know roughly how much they moved and how they slept, without paying monthly for the privilege. At a quarter the price of a mid-range smartwatch it does most of what people actually look at.
It is also the best first tracker for someone unsure whether they will stick with one. If it ends up in a drawer after a month, the loss is small.
The review sample deserves its own mention: 14,585 ratings is roughly twice the next-largest in our fitness tracker comparison. A 4.4 across that many buyers is a far more reliable signal than a higher average across a few hundred.
Who it's not for
People who want the data interpreted for them. The hardware is strong for the money; the app is functional rather than insightful. If you want to be told what your numbers mean, Fitbit does that better.
It is also not a training device. There is no GPS of its own and no recovery modelling, so it will not guide a structured programme.
Pros
- Three weeks of battery is a genuine behavioural advantage, not just a spec
- No subscription of any kind
- Bright AMOLED panel that stays readable outdoors
- 5ATM rating covers swimming
- By far the largest review sample in its price class
Cons
- App is noticeably less polished than Fitbit's or Garmin's
- No built-in GPS
- Sleep staging is an estimate from movement and heart rate, as on every wrist device
- Band quality is the most common complaint in the sample
