This review is built from ProsourceFit's Amazon Australia listing (current pricing, rating and review volume) and a read-through of the most recent verified buyer reviews - not from physically operating the unit ourselves. Where a claim below has no independent testing behind it, that's noted rather than presented as measured fact.

Who it's for
Someone finding out whether vest training suits them. At $36.22 this is the cheapest honest way to answer that question, and the highest average of the four vests we compared.
The simplicity is a real feature. There are no pockets to leak, no packs to rattle and nothing to lose. For circuits and bodyweight work at a single load it does exactly what it says.
Who it's not for
Anyone planning to progress. A fixed weight is either slightly too easy or slightly too hard, and within a couple of months it will be the former. There is no way to add load.
It is also not for anyone who needs a precise fit — it is a simple garment at a simple price.
Pros
- Highest rating among the vests we compared
- Nothing to leak, rattle or lose
- Cheapest route into vest training
- Light enough to use for conditioning rather than only strength
Cons
- No adjustability at all
- You will outgrow it
- Limited size range
- Padding gets warm quickly
